1. Definition : Ampoule is a sealed glass contained of liquid or medicine.




     Ampul is a cylindrical-shaped container made of glass, which has a pointed tip (neck) and a flat base plane of its normal size is 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, sometimes also 25 or 30 ml. Ampul is a single-dose container, since the total amount of fluid is determined for one injection.
     Packaging Technology of Ampoules Injectable preparations are sterilized because these preparations are administered parenterally. The term sterile is a free state of microorganisms both vegetative, nonvegetative, pathogenic and nonpatogenic forms. Whereas parenteral shows giving by injected.
